Here are some common questions about our photography, drone filming and video services and operations in Spain, UK and Europe.
Are drone flights legal in Spain/Europe and UK?
Yes. All operations are conducted in accordance with current AESA and EASA regulations. Different operational categories exist, including A1/A3 and STS, with certification and planning adapted to the type of flight and environment. Some permissions require a minimum of 5 days’ notice, and up to 2 weeks for operations near airports or sensitive areas. For the UK the regulations are similar but different in some respects. However, the work of organising permissons is done by the drone pilot/operator not the client.
What permissions are required?
This depends on the location and type of operation. Certain flights require specific authorisations, especially in urban areas, restricted airspace or near airports. Flight permissions and operational planning are managed in advance where required.What time of day is best for filming or photography?
For exterior work, the best conditions are typically between 11:00 and 16:00, when lighting is cleaner and more consistent. For interiors, ideal conditions are usually between 08:00–11:00 and 16:00–20:00, taking advantage of softer and more balanced natural light.How should a property be prepared before a shoot?
It is recommended that the space is prepared in advance by opening curtains and blinds, tidying surfaces and removing unnecessary objects. The more prepared the property is, the more efficient the session will be. Additional scene styling or preparation may require extra time and cost.How long does delivery take?
Production times can vary from approximately 1.5 hours to several days or a full week depending on the scale of the project. Editing and post-production generally require between 1–3 days. Smaller real estate projects are often delivered within 24 hours, while larger architectural projects may take up to one week.Who are our team?
Our team are degree level photographers,videographers and STS (specfic and open category) drone pilots qualified to perform complex filming operations in Europe. They are both art and technically trained.
